Essential questions:

What are some traditions that your family has?

How do people celebrate differently or the same?

Enduring understandings: Families may have different traditions or celebrations but we are all still families.

After my read aloud, we will talk about traditions and celebrations as a class and make class list. Students will be asked to do a flip grid response asking family members to name a family tradition and a favorite celebration.
