What is worth fighting for in your lives today? Would you fight for your family and your house? Lead into a discussion of what it would have been like to live in the early days when white man was taken over the American Indian's land. The beliefs that both side had that caused the conflict of who owned the land and superiority that each side felt. What would you do if someone was forcing you to move?
How does geography, climate, and natural resources affect the way you live?
Lead into a discussion about how our natural resources affect the way you live. What happens if you live in a place with no buffalo to eat? The Ojibway Indians split into different groups years ago. The Plains Ojibway moved into the Dakota's and lived off of the land with the buffalo. The band on Red Lake is known as the Woodland Ojibway, and they lived off of the lake and survived in the woods.
