My Summary

     One Day in the Tropical Rain Forest is a written account about the life changing events in a young Indian boy's journey through the beautiful rain forest he calls his home.  Tepui begins his day at 6:29 a.m. in search of a unnamed butterfly and finds himself racing the bulldozer drivers, truck drivers, and chain sawyers who are traveling closer to begin clearing the rain forest.  Despite his relentless dedication, by 6:51 p.m. Tupui's life will change forever.
